A studio built on three decades of shipping
Kopaxgroup is the working name of Kopaxgroup Kft., an R&D studio based in Budapest. Small on purpose, senior by design.
The short version
Kopaxgroup started as an engineering practice and grew into a studio. The brand has shipped from Hong Kong, France and now Hungary — always to the same standard: senior people and accountable delivery.
Today, Kopaxgroup Kft. is registered in Budapest and operates as an R&D studio: part client delivery, part internal ventures. We deliver for clients in regulated finance and beyond, and quietly build and operate products of our own.
We stay deliberately small and senior. When a project needs more hands, we assemble a trusted, pre-vetted team around it — and lead it from the inside.

Dimitri Kopriwa
Founder & CTO — engineer and operator
I have spent more than 30 years building software — and the businesses around it. I wrote my first line of code at six and have since worked across every layer that ships a product: CTO, lead engineer, cloud architect, DevOps and fullstack.
I spent three years as a core engineer on Pass Culture — France’s national cultural platform serving over two million users — fully remote, on the live codebase, a cross-team reference under real launch-day pressure. My range is deliberate: web3 and DeFi, fintech and brokerage, energy and IoT (Voltalis), AI automation, trading and large-scale cloud.
I am not only an engineer. Through Kopaxgroup — from Hong Kong to France to Budapest — I build digital businesses end to end: architecting the product, standing up the infrastructure, running the operation. I build companies, back ventures, and ship the hard parts myself.
